[_private/discRH_ahdr.htm]Re: a lunch meetingFrom: John Mullinax CommentsHey Goad, At least you, Alan and Wayne still have hair. Me, I have the two G's - Gone and Grey. It was a nice gathering - hope to do it again. Like Jimmy said, some of the change is good but a lot is sad. Everything directly across the street from the school on Jefferson Ave. is gone. All the theaters are gone. We had three. Can anyone name them and where they were located? Much of Main Street is gone and now one way. Of the buildings left, few, if any, are the same establishments. Earl Edmondson is to be commended for his donation of the house that was moved to Headland Drive where the old swimming pool was located. It now houses the East Point Historical Society. Kudos Earl.
